Even with the internet, it's been helpful to travel with an oversized map of South America.
Tomorrow, we fly from Puerto Montt to Punta Arenas, the southern tip of Chile. Looking forward to seeing penguins and hiking in Torres del Paine!

Trip planning
We had a great rest day in Puerto Varas. Our hotel has excellent wifi, allowing us to do some much needed trip planning as we look ahead to Peru and Bolivia. (Thanks to Jon, Elaine, Eunice, Veronique and Alain for your thorough trip notes!) We can't wait to see Alicia in Cusco!
Here we are looking at where we went in Ecuador from December to February.
